Welcome to PageVersa ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring compliance with Google Play Developer Policies, GDPR, and CCPA guidelines. This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled when you use the PageVersa application.
1. LOCAL DOCUMENT PROCESSING (OFFLINE-FIRST)
PageVersa is designed as an on-device utility application.
• All file conversions (PDF to Word/Excel/PPT/Images, Word/Excel/PPT/Images to PDF, PDF/Image compression, merging, and splitting) are performed 100% locally on your device hardware.
• We NEVER collect, upload, store, or transmit your personal files, documents, or images to any external servers or remote cloud databases.
• Your document content remains strictly private on your device at all times.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT VIA THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
While PageVersa does not collect personal files, we integrate trusted third-party SDKs provided by Google to deliver advertisements and analyze app performance:
A. Google AdMob (Advertising)
• Purpose: To serve banner and interstitial advertisements that support the app.
• Collected Data: Google Advertising ID (AAID), device type, OS version, interaction statistics, and IP address for country-level ad delivery.
• Ad Personalization: AdMob may use device identifiers to display relevant ads. Users can opt out or reset their Advertising ID in Android Settings > Google > Ads.
B. Google Analytics for Firebase
• Purpose: To measure app usage, feature popularity, and stability.
• Collected Data: App launch events, feature selections (e.g., tool used, file type converted), crash logs, screen views, and device model info.
• Privacy Assurance: Analytics events contain no personal document content, file names, or user identities.
3. DEVICE PERMISSIONS
PageVersa requests the following permissions strictly to provide app functionality:
• Storage / Media Access: Used exclusively to let you select files for conversion and save generated documents to your local storage.
• Internet Access: Used exclusively by Google AdMob and Google Analytics SDKs for ad rendering and performance metrics.
4. LOCAL DATA RETENTION & DELETION
• PageVersa maintains a local conversion history database on your device for your convenience.
• You have full control to view, open, share, or permanently delete individual records or your entire file history at any time via the "My Files" tab or by clearing app data in your device settings.
5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
PageVersa does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU/EEA). AdMob and Analytics configurations follow Google's Families Policy and COPPA guidelines.
